This year, we rejoice in a significant milestone—30 years since the opening of our church building. Originally known as St Martin’s, and now called Ulladulla Anglican, our church has been more than just bricks and mortar; it has been a place of worship, fellowship, and community.
Since its dedication, our church has welcomed countless individuals and families, providing a sanctuary for prayer, celebration, and support in times of need. It has witnessed baptisms, weddings, and farewells, standing as a testament to the faith and commitment of our congregation.
At the heart of our church’s history is its foundation stone, which reads:
“To the Glory of God this stone was set by The Most Rev D.W.B. Robinson AO MA ThD, Archbishop of Sydney, 20th December 1987.
For no one can lay any foundation other than Jesus Christ. – 1 Cor 3:11”
This scripture has been a guiding truth for our church, reminding us that Christ is the foundation of all we do.
As we reflect on our journey, we give thanks for the many hands and hearts that have shaped Ulladulla Anglican. From our founding members who first worshipped at St Martin’s to those who continue to serve today, your dedication has ensured that our church remains a beacon of hope and love in Ulladulla.
Looking ahead, we pray that Ulladulla Anglican will continue to be a place of spiritual growth and community connection for generations to come. May this anniversary be a reminder of God’s faithfulness and the strength we find in coming together as one body in Christ.
Join us as we celebrate 30 years of worship, service, and fellowship—giving thanks for our past and looking forward to the future with faith and joy.
