South Coast Anglican Church (Ulladulla and Milton) is an evangelical Anglican church in the Sydney Anglican Diocese. As the southernmost parish of the diocese, we are here for Jesus, and here to reach the people of the 20+ towns and villages of our parish: the communities which make up this section of the South Coast. Here for Jesus // Here for the Coast.
We rejoice in the gospel of God through which we have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God written and to contain all things necessary for salvation.
We uphold the three historic Creeds and the Thirty-nine Articles as containing the true doctrine of the Anglican Church.
We gladly proclaim and submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, humanity’s only Saviour from sin and its tragic, eternal consequences; who lived the life we could not live and died the death that we deserve. By his atoning death and glorious resurrection, he secured the redemption of all who come to him in repentance and faith.
We have a fantastic and passionate leadership team here at Ulladulla Anglican. Our team is committed to to what we believe and our ministries to the surrounding community here on the South Coast NSW.
Our mission is to Manyana, Conjola, Fishermans Paradise, Milton, Narrawallee, Mollymook, Ulladulla, King’s Point, Burrill Lake, Dolphin Point, Tabourie, Termeil, Bawley and Kioloa.
We have a number of ministries to connect with members of our community and grow engagement.
At our Ulladulla site, we have parking off Green St., in addition to ample street parking. There is also publicly accessible parking located at Ulladulla library, with easy access to our churchyard from there.
At our Milton site, in addition to sealed parking off Church St., the churchyard gate is open of a Sunday morning, allowing extra parking beside the church building. This parking is opened just before the service, and closed not long after. There is also street parking available on Church and Charles Streets.
Our services run for approximately one hour, or occasionally 1:15 if it is a special Sunday.
Casual is fine! We are a church for everyone, and on a Sunday morning you’ll see everything from waistcoats to jeans and a t-shirt.
As an Anglican church we have parts of our service for songs, and we have words that we invite Christians to join in with saying together, but these are not mandatory. If you’re not a Christian yet, or if you’re not confident to join in with all of that, you’re still more than welcome!
Yes!! Our volunteer children’s minister Wendy and her team run a fun, child-safe Sunday morning kids’ church program at our 9am Ulladulla service. Kids start out in the service, and then head out to kids’ church. They then rejoin the congregation at the end of the service.
Absolutely!! So much of our service is carefully put together in order to be accessible to everyone, from those who’ve been Christian their whole lives, to people who are in church for the very first time. We believe that Jesus is for every person, and that’s why we are here for Jesus, here for the Coast. Ulladulla Anglican Church is your church and we’d love to see you here on a Sunday!!
We aim to love the outsider and the newcomer, regardless of their past or present. Jesus loved us “while we were yet His enemies,” and so our churches are committed to welcoming people where they are ‘at,’ with no preconceived notions of where they oughta be.
Every Sunday’s a Good Sunday to invite someone to church. “Being Church” isn’t limited to what we do on a Sunday, but our Sunday gatherings should be most representative of who we are: a people who have received the gospel, and who faithfully proclaim it to ourselves, one another, and our community. That’s why we want to work hard to make sure that our gatherings speak clearly to all: whether you’ve been in church for 50 years, or 5 minutes.
Mission to our Parish defines us, drives us, and underpins everything that we do. As an Anglican Parish, we’re defined by our geography. Our passion is to reach the people of the South Coast, all the way from Bendalong in the North to Bawley Point in the South. That is who we are, and it’s a passionate desire for the South Coast to know Jesus that guides our approach to being church.
We are committed to the next generation. We believe that we haven’t fully received the gospel until we have also passed it on. Our churches are committed to the future of Jesus’ church, and this is reflected in our commitment to reaching the next generation. We will make missional, financial, strategic decisions out of a commitment to the future of the church—the real men and women, boys and girls who are learning to love Jesus—in coming generations.
We are passionately local. With a history of being here for more than a century-and-a-half, it doesn’t get more ‘local’ than that. Our churches are deeply embedded in our community, represent our community, and are here for our community. That’s why we say it so loudly: we are here for Jesus // here for the Coast.
